I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally be able to shake off the frost of winter and say that spring is officially here! If you can look past the pollen, I feel that there’s no prettier time of year to be in the South than right now when everything is putting on its best Sunday dress and blooming like crazy. Last weekend I was lucky enough to spend Sunday in one of my favorite places in the Atlanta area, Serenbe. If you’re not familiar, Serenbe is part Mayberry-like small town, part farm, part bed and breakfast, part wedding venue, and 100% amazing. When you’re there you feel like you’ve stepped out of reality and into some kind of dream place, it’s truly magical.
And Serenbe just so happened to be the setting for something else pretty magical, The Pretty Peach Workshop! This workshop, hosted by my friend Shelby of Shelby Rae Photographs and Luisa of Peaches to Pearls, was a day filled with beauty, learning, and community.
Attendees got the opportunity to learn from Shelby and Luisa about how they have built their own successful brands, got to learn photography tips hands-on while photographing a styled table, and received fancy new headshots from Shelby (I’m kind of obsessed with mine, but no surprises here, Shelby did all the images of me on my website so I was already keenly familiar with her insane talents!)
Attendees also got to learn how to make a simple bouquet courtesy of Savannah Kilpatrick who is not only an extremely adorable person, but also very talented to boot.
Then Christina Scalera dropped some legal knowledge. Seriously ya’ll, if you need an attorney she’s the best, and she’s THE NICEST.
Thank you so much to Luisa and Shelby for allowing me to be a part of this fun event! If you’re interested in learning more about future workshops (perfect for entrepreneurs looking to learn more about blogging) follow Luisa, Shelby, and The Pretty Peach Workshop on Instagram!
