Who doesn’t love a good photo booth? As someone who is no stranger to the event industry, I can tell you that after about five glasses of middle-shelf chardonnay, NO ONE doesn’t love a good photo booth. But, you know, the whole photo booth thing has been around for awhile. It’s starting to get a little tired and overdone.
So I was super excited when Brenda contacted me about her new business concept: a photo booth that also shot slow motion video! Seriously, YouTube it, it’s pretty fun. The company would be called Be Booth, and the focus would be on fun and celebrating the individual spirit. We opted for a retro feel with fun pops of mod-inspired colors, geometric patterns and bold type. The website features some kitschy sayings and an overall slightly irreverent tone. Because who can really be serious when you’re looking at images of people wearing gladiator hats and martini sunglasses?
I’m so excited not only for this brand to launch but also to see where it goes in the future! Brenda’s still getting all the technical bizness worked out, but we were fortunate enough to get to try out the still-photo portion of the booth at my friend Ashley’s wedding. Debauchery ensued.
Go show Brenda some love at the live site here, and if you’re having a wedding or party soon, consider booking Be Booth. I don’t know about you, but I think having a picture of my mom wearing pink star glasses is pretty stellar (hehe, no pun intended), and you really can’t put a price on that.
